Flower Dogwood
Decorating Tips Did You Know?

care tips

For maximum flowering, dogwoods should be planted in a bright but not-too-sunny spot.

The planting hole should be slightly larger than the root ball. Place the plant in the soil at the level at which it was originally grown. Don't heap up soil too high around the roots; don't cover with too little soil so that roots show.

Water the tree thoroughly after transplanting.

A 2" to 3" organic mulch added to the soil surface will help control temperature, conserve moisture, and prevent weeds.
